General Terms

• Choice Selection: We recommend selecting a backup choice in case your preferred kid is unavailable. If your backup choice is selected by another buyer, you will have first pick from the remaining available kids from that breeding.

• Breeder's Responsibility: We understand that placing a deposit on a breeding involves some risk, as the outcome is uncertain. We will not retain any kid that has a prior deposit.

 

Health

• Health Guarantee: We guarantee the health of the kid at the time of sale. However, we cannot be responsible for health issues arising after the kid leaves our farm due to factors beyond our control.

• Health Inquiries: Please address any health concerns before picking up your kid.

• Veterinary Care: The purchaser is responsible for all veterinary expenses.

• Holding and Pickup: Board fees may apply for holding the kid beyond the agreed-upon pickup date. The kid must be picked up by the specified date unless an extension is mutually agreed upon.

 

Herd Health

• Disease Testing: Our herd is 100% CAE & CL negative and tested annually before breeding.

• Bottle-Feeding: We typically do not bottle-feed kids unless the dam is unable to care for them.

• Dehorning: Kids will be dehorned unless otherwise requested.

• Weaning: Kids will be available for pickup at 8 weeks of age.

 

Deposits and Payment

• Deposit: A $50 deposit is required to reserve a kid.

• Balance: The remaining balance is due upon pickup.

• Deposit Refund: Deposits are refundable if the reserved kid is not born or unavailable. Deposits are non-refundable for buyer-canceled orders.

• Payment Deadline: The remaining balance is due within 2 weeks of notification of kid availability. Failure to pay within this timeframe may result in the animal being resold, and all monies paid will be forfeited.

 

Pickup

• On-Farm Pickup: We encourage on-farm pickup, allowing you to see the kid, its parents, and take photos.

• Scheduling: Please schedule your pickup in advance.

• Boarding Fees: Boarding fees may apply if the kid is not picked up within 6 weeks, unless prior arrangements are made.
